Notification Regarding the Discontinuation of China-Optimized Product Series in Hong Kong Region

After careful consideration, we have had to make a difficult decision: the China-optimized product series in the Hong Kong region will be officially discontinued on July 30, 2025. First and foremost, we sincerely appreciate the support and trust of our users for this product series, and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause.

Explanation for the Adjustment

Since the launch of the China-optimized network products last year, we have faced significant challenges with persistently high bandwidth costs in the Hong Kong region. During this period, despite our continuous efforts and various measures to absorb losses and maintain service operations, after multiple in-depth evaluations and deliberations, we regretfully concluded that under the current cost structure, it is difficult to ensure service quality while maintaining reasonable and competitive pricing.

This decision was equally difficult and heavy for us. ClawCloud has always adhered to the core philosophy of "enabling more users to enjoy high-cost-performance products." Precisely because of this, we are even more reluctant to continue under circumstances where user experience cannot be guaranteed. Faced with the persistent imbalance between quality and cost, we have chosen to confront reality honestly and make the tough decision to fully discontinue the China-optimized product series in the Hong Kong region.

Scope of Affected Products

Affected Products:

  • China-Optimized Product Series - Hong Kong Region
  • VPS (Virtual Private Server) - Hong Kong Region
  • Dedicated VPS - Hong Kong Region
  • Poping China-Optimized Product Series - Hong Kong Region

Unaffected Products:

  • China-Optimized Product Series - Singapore Region and Japan Region ✓
  • Cloud VPS Product Series ✓
  • Cloud VDS Product Series ✓
  • Cloud Windows Product Series ✓
  • Poping Cloud Product Series ✓

Compensation Options (Choose One)

To safeguard your rights to the greatest extent, we offer the following three compensation options:

  1. Option 1: Refund to Account Balance
    Reply with the number 1
    We will process refunds in the order of responses, compensating 1.1 times the remaining service value to your ClawCloud account balance. The refund amount is calculated based on the time you submit the ticket. The account balance can be used to purchase available ClawCloud products.

    • Applicable to servers with Push records.
  2. Option 2: Migration to Singapore or Japan Region
    Reply with: Singapore or Japan
    If your instance expires before July 22, we will first extend its expiration date to July 22.
    We will create a new instance of the same specifications in the designated region in the order of submissions and double the memory capacity of the new instance (if your instance cannot have its memory doubled, you will receive a $10 account balance compensation). Please note:

    • The new instance belongs to the China-optimized product series and enjoys the same discounted pricing and billing cycle as the old instance.
    • The old instance's system disk, system disk backups, data disks, firewall configurations, and SSH key pairs will not be automatically migrated to the new instance.
    • You will have a period during which both instances coexist to facilitate data migration.
    • If the old instance's expiration date is later than July 31, it will be adjusted to July 31, without affecting the new instance's expiration date.
    • The old instance will be shut down 7 days after the new instance is activated.
  3. Option 3: Refund to Original Payment Method
    Reply with the number 3
    We will process refunds in the order of responses, refunding the remaining service duration to the original payment method without any fees. The refund amount is calculated based on the time you submit the ticket.

    • Not applicable to servers with Push records.
    • If the refund fails, Option 1 will be applied to refund the amount to the account balance.

Refund Calculation Formula
Account Balance Refund = (Remaining Days ÷ Total Purchased Days) × Actual Payment Amount × 1.1
Original Payment Method Refund = (Remaining Days ÷ Total Purchased Days) × Actual Payment Amount

Operation Guide

  1. Please log in to your ClawCloud account before July 30, 2025.
  2. Reply to the automatically generated ticket in the following format:
    • Option 1: 1
    • Option 2: Singapore or Japan
    • Option 3: 3
  3. If no response is received by the deadline, or if the server has a Push record, or if the refund to the original payment method fails, Option 1 will be applied by default.
  4. The first confirmed option cannot be changed, and subsequent replies will not be processed.
